Love and Festive Seasons
The festive seasons is almost here, and I am in my feelings – happy, mushy, and thrilled.
I feel like the 6-year-old version of myself that had sleepless nights because my Christmas outfit is hanging somewhere in the house, and I am counting the days to when I can finally rock it. Sometimes, I secretly sneak into my mom’s room to try it. Phew! Nostalgia. I don’t know about you, but I love the festive seasons
Many things about the festive seasons make it more exciting than any other time of the year. I am sure you can sense my excitement through your screen right now. A few things I love about the festive are the preparation that makes us bond as a family, the decorations, the gift exchange, and how restful it can be after the activities.
Using BucksTrybe with my siblings this year makes the season more special for me. My siblings and I are saving together to contribute to our festive gathering as a family and gift our parents presents.
If you are not thrilled by the festive season , can I give you reasons it is a beautiful holiday you should look forward to?
Activities you can do together: Converse with them, play games, cook, share recipes, dance, sip, and paint.
This festive season , try something other than pressing your phone and engaging with people you cannot see.
Gift Ideas: Perfumes, dresses, shirts, hampers, jewellery, vouchers (spa, restaurants etc).
Activities ideas to aid reflection: Look back at pictures you took and songs you listened to, write a gratitude list, and send out a questionnaire about yourself to your loved ones.
Don’t forget about “Togetherness and Community” – you belong somewhere, people find home in you as you do in some people, and it would mean a lot to someone if you spend time with them this festive period.
Love during the festive periods is beautiful. Don’t deny yourself of it.
How ready are you for the festive period this year? Let me know in the comments.
